A RESPONSIBLE
ESTATE

Exemplarity and commitment are strong values at the Domaine, inherited from the Duke of Burgundy, known as Le Hardi (the Bold) due to the courage he showed in battle. In 2021, Philippe Le Hardi started its conversion to Organic Agriculture with the aim of obtaining certification for the entire vineyard in 2024. This decision is part of a process of reflection: respect for the environment has been a guiding principle since the acquisition of the Château by the Crédit Agricole in 1997. In 2004, Terra Vitis certification. In 2015, the Domaine also obtained High Environmental Value certification.

A conversion that meets the ecological challenges of the time: landscape regeneration, preservation of soil fertility, stimulation/reactivation of biodiversity. A change in terms of culture and cultivation for this 98 hectare estate, which includes 35 climats, spread over the Côte de Nuits, the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Chalonnaise.

“Our goal is to build a sustainable, fertile future.” Anne Le Naour, Executive Director
